The castle of Caen is at the heart of the city of Caen. It was created in the Middle Ages by William the Conqueror around 1060, then underwent numerous modifications. With 5.5 hectares, is one of the largest castles in Europe.
From the ramparts, the panoramic view of the city of Caen is beautiful. The enclosure is reinforced by two weep holes.
