Château de Val

Once capital of a barony, belonging to the family of Thynières, VAL was sold by William of Thynières to Guillot d'Estaing, who undertook the construction of the present castle in 1440 on the foundations of the old fortress.

After several successive restorations and abondons, VAL is since 1953 owned by the town of Bort-Les-Organs. It is located in the town of Lanobre in the Cantal.
