Castle Tanlay is representative of French Renaissance style, built in the sixteenth century and seventeenth century, surrounded by a moat. Some architectural details such as the pyramids on the access bridge, the wall surrounding the Green Court, the Hall of the Caesars, the water-lily, are imbued with the Italian taste.
