Château de Saint Chamant

In a remarkable site overlooking the valley open to the Cantal mountains, the castle (ISMH) has a dungeon XV, of military origin, among other fief of Robert de Balsac, king's chamberlain, seneschal of Gascony and the Agen . In the seventeenth, the Lignerac, future Dukes of Caylus, build a large main building which houses a remarkable collection of Aubusson tapestries.

Since 1783, the family now maintains the set alive.
In addition to Aubusson, you can see Flanders (XVII), an altarpiece (XVII) in the chapel, the great staircase woodwork.
