The Château de la Baume is a castle-like Renaissance, ancient possession of the barony of Peyre, also known by the nickname "Versailles of Gevaudan." It is located in the village of Lozère Prinsuéjols between Marvejols and Aumont-Aubrac. Located at an altitude of 1200 meters, it is the highest castle in France.
Visit all year round:
July and August: daily from 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00.
Off season: by appointment.
