On the set of Châteaugay, the castle, which dominates the limagne, retains a great square tower of basalt at the base strongly sloped. The houses are arranged around a courtyard. The castle was called "Vigoche" until 1350, when its new owner named it "Chateaugay". It was rebuilt in the late fourteenth century.
The castle is surrounded by a village of winemakers. A tasting cellar is installed in the courtyard.
