Cathédrale Saint-Privat

Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Mende is the Episcopal Diocese of Mende. Located in the center of the Prefecture of the Lozère, it is classified a historical monument since 1906.

It welcomes into its midst of Aubusson tapestries of the early eighteenth century, the woodwork of the seventeenth century, a black virgin of the twelfth century, the organ of the seventeenth century, and the beating of the "no such", the largest bell the world at the time of its establishment.
