Welcome to the charming "Countryside" of Pré Grand, a century-old farmhouse in Haute-Provence located very close to Forcalquier, on the edge of the village of Saint-Étienne-les-Orgues. You are welcomed in a spacious and comfortable guest room.

Particular attention is paid to the quality of the bedding. The room, carefully furnished, offers very practical furniture with chest of drawers, table and chairs, armchairs plus a coffee or tea maker with a kettle.

The copious breakfast (tea, coffee, butter and assortment of jam, cereals, yogurts, orange juice) is most often served on the terrace opening onto the orchard.

In the guest room, you can also enjoy the south-facing terrace with its plane tree and garden furniture installed on the lawns. Guaranteed calm. The village is very close with all the shops, beautiful walks and visits are open to you on the Lure mountain and surrounding villages.

Parking inside the estate for cars, closed garage for cycle tourists, cyclists and motorcyclists.

On site we have a few mountain bikes that we can rent for half a day (€10) or a day (€15), depending on your expectations.

A clarification regarding the terms of request for availability or reservation: my email and telephone messaging is checked every evening and I make it a point to respond immediately but it is sometimes difficult to reach me during the day on my telephone, due to lack of an diligent relationship with this potentially tyrannical tool. ACCESS TO PRE GRAND COUNTRYSIDE
If you arrive via Sisteron (Sisteron sud motorway exit, turn left at the next 2 roundabouts then, after crossing the village of BONS ENFANTS, go to the Peipin roundabout (bricomarché on your left) and turn right (sign ST ETIENNE LES ORGUES) Once past the villages of MALLEFOUGASSE and CRUIS, do not enter the village but follow the southern bypass to the Europe roundabout. Take the direction of Forcalquier via Limans (do not take the road). de Fontienne), go about 500 m, turn left (sign indicating restaurant LA CASA), go 200 m, the house is on the left, just IN FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT LA CASA (when you are facing the entrance to the restaurant, you have the rear access path to the house at your back under a tennis court)..There is a small sign “campaign de Pré Grand” on the central wall. Take the path to park inside the estate (do not. do not park in the parking lot opposite the restaurant)
If you arrive via Banon, take direction St Etienne les Orgues then cross St Etienne les Orgues (turn right in the center towards Forcalquier), take the Europe roundabout towards Forcalquier via Limans (do not take route de Fontienne) , go about 500 m and turn left (sign indicating LA CASA restaurant), go 200 m, the house is on the left, just opposite the La Casa restaurant, under a tennis court, entrance from the back of the house just under the tennis court
If you arrive via Aix Marseille or Sisteron, motorway exit La Brillanne then left motorway exit (direction Manosque & Forcalquier) up to the roundabout (500m) then at the roundabout on the right to the village of La Brillanne, cross the village take on the left towards Forcalquier, cross Forcalquier then at the roundabout exit east of Forcalquier take the D 13 towards St Etienne les Orgues via Limans, turn right 300 m after the entrance sign to the village of St Etienne (after the petrol station at your left you see the sign indicating restaurant LA CASA), go 200 m straight (slight descent), the house is on the left under a tennis court opposite the restaurant La Casa, entrance from the back of the house just under the tennis court, parking at inside (do not park in the parking lot opposite the restaurant)

If you arrive by air, please land in the plot located just downstream of the small domain in the Pré Grand countryside and approach the building from the south (permeable hedge in its eastern part)...please take care not to not disturb any sheep, cattle or equines grazing the tender grass too much
Parking inside the “property” (and not in the outdoor parking lot in front of the tennis court)
The car park can accommodate 4 cars without problem: the few trees which border the pitches will be grateful if you do not jostle them during daring manoeuvres.
The middle location, narrower, suggests parking in reverse (go straight towards the small walnut tree then back up): experience has proven that this is the best modus operandi, especially for the tree, incidentally for the skirt of your car which could have difficulty recovering from its confrontation with the stone shield which protects the plane tree!
