Situated in the tiny rural hamlet of Bouteyres, and surrounded by Chestnut forests teeming with wildlife, Calm Ardèche offers you a haven of tranquility in the stunningly beautiful heart of the Ardèche in southern France.
The hamlet is comprised of 5 traditional Ardèchoise stone built houses, 3 of which are holiday homes and rarely occupied. The road ends at Bouteyres and so there is never any through traffic. The only noises you will hear are the sounds of nature. Having lain uninhabited and in a ruinous state for many years, this ancient farmhouse has recently been lovingly and sympathetically restored to the highest standards by the owner and local craftsmen.
In the country garden the twenty or so cherry trees bloom in early May and you can enjoy lazing the day away in their shade in one of the hammocks at your disposal.
The garden also provides a wide range of organically grown vegetables and salads, all used in the preparation of guests' meals.
