The situation of this chambre d'hotes (guesthouses) is very pleasant, since it is down a small lane with other houses and fields around. The chambre d'hote itself has a large grassy area in the middle. The timber-framed building was very attractive and our suite, 'Praline', which was upstairs, did not disappoint at all. The three bedrooms are slightly separated, each with a double bed. The whole suite felt very spacious.
Our welcome was extremely friendly and our hosts, Franck and Barbara, were very helpful throughout our stay. They helped us to practise our French but also saved us from trawling round towns to find an open restaurant by phoning up recommended places and making reservations. A particular favourite restaurant (in fact, the best we experienced in Normandy) was 'Le P'tit Normand' in a small town called Cambremer - the food was delicious and the atmosphere very intimate.
