This farmhouse, where parts of its premises were built around 1709 in a small village that is situated at the foot of a protected chapel, which is dedicated to the holy St. Quentin. The history of this chapel, which was built around the 12th century and its surrounding buildings are closely connected to the Abbey of Cluny. After the destruction of Cluny Abbey the stones were spread as building material throughout the region. Therefor it's not surprising to even find stones from the Abbey - the so called "Cluny-stones" - in the walls of this building. Throughout the centuries the farm-house was visibly extended. Between 1990 and 1994 the farm was renovated. To keep the typical style of the region was the ultimate ambition.
