Directions from the North
Which ever way you come from the UK we suggest that you look for the city of ORLÉANS which is South of PARIS and leads to the A20 motorway (auto route), which goes all the way to TOULOUSE. You need to join this motorway at some point, it is mostly a free motorway but just before the junction you need for us, there is a toll booth and when you do leave the motorway there will be very little to pay.

You can leave the A20 at either junction 55 or 56, it depends on whether you want to stay on the motorway or go on the smaller roads.

From junction 55 (SOUILLAC/SARLAT) follow directions for the N20 south to PAYRAC, CAHORS, TOULOUSE. About 4km after PAYRAC there is a right hand turn for the D673 to GOURDON. Follow the signs all the way to GOURDON.

From junction 56 (SARLAT/GOURDON) follow directions for GOURDON D801. It is a straight run from here, you will cross the N20 en route. Follow the road all the way to GOURDON.

From Gourdon
When you get to GOURDON, from the East, go into the centre, the road forks to the right into a one way system. Follow the road to the T-junction at the top of the hill, turn left here and follow the road around to a mini roundabout, take the first exit (SARLAT - D704). After 50m this road goes down a hill (make sure that you do not carry on going around the town).

Follow this road for about 3km, you will pass a 'foie-gras' factory on your right and shortly after this there is a left turn to PAYRIGNAC - D47. Follow the road down the hill and turn left at the junction at the bottom, go all the way through the village.

Just after the village there is a fork in the road, take the right fork to NABIRAT. Follow this road for about 2km. After the group of houses at 'Font Pelligri', you will see a turning on the right with a notice board and a 'cul-de-sac' sign and a sign for LE GARRIT, turn right here.

Follow this road all the way to the end. You will go past a group of buildings on the right, go straight on, this is where the tarmac ends. You will see 'Le Roucou' (that's us) at the bottom of the hill on the left. WELCOME.
