Your English-speaking hosts, Alan and Gwen extend a warm welcome. Le Grand Moulin Le Comte is a restored 18th century farmhouse, situated in beautiful countryside in Normandy. It is only 30 minutes by car to the Mont Saint Michel. It is 3 kilometres from the small town of Genêts which lies in the bay of the Mont St. Michel and faces the Mont itself. From Genêts, there are daily crossings with a guide to the Mont.
Continental breakfast is served in the large dining room which has an original Norman granite fireplace and there is a small lounge reserved for guests next to it
Each room has a private bathroom or shower facilities and W.C. Two of the rooms have independent private entrances on the ground level, while of the 3 rooms on the first floor, one has an extension allowing for family accommodation.
Ample parking available. A choice of good restaurants nearby

Directions from the ports:
- head towards the Mont St Michel and Avranches( pass near Granville but not into the town)
- Take the N973 near Granville and make for Avranches via Sartilly
- 2 kms after Sartilly , at a big crossroads on the brow of a hill, turn right, after Guilloux Matériaux (building firm), between this and a Station-Service, and go 3 kms into the village of Bacilly.Pass Church on your left.

It was abouth 3 km away from the street and very quiet at night. The area was a good operating base to cycle in all directions and the village of Genêts was nearby for a good mail. We have experienced ourselves the village festival, a real must.
