The rooms are on the second floor of a small manor house (18th century) set in a quiet wooded park with flowers beds.
Within the grounds are three small garden railways.
There is a private park full of birds and a swimming pool with salted water near the old orchard, facing beautiful views over rolling countryside.
The famous chain of volcanoes including the Puy de Dôme is on the horizon, so that the middleage village of Charroux.

Access by A71 motorway
Leave A71 at junction 12 (Gorges de la Sioule), follow signs to Ebreuil then Vicq, straight on towards Valignat, Bellenaves, then at the top of the hill, before the village of Valignat, turn left on RD183. L'Ormet is 1,500m on the right.
Access from Gannat
Follow signs to Ebreuil, then as above.
Access from St Pourçain
Follow signs to Chantelle then Bellenaves then Ebreuil via St Bonnet de Tizon. Over the level crossing and after the road to the village of Valignat, at the very top of the hill turn right on RD183. L'Ormet is 1,500 m on the right.
